Every website begins with two decisions: what builds it, and what hosts it. This guide — the founding guide of LIKE® Magazine's New Technology department — maps both decisions worldwide: 16 builders and platforms in Part A, and 19 hosts and infrastructure companies in Part B, 35 companies in all.

For every company the guide gives the full field set: leadership with exact titles, what it sells in full, customers and scale with dated company figures where they are officially published, pricing posture in words only, published contact details, headquarters and footprint, founding and ownership. Where a field could not be verified, the entry says so plainly. Two companies, GoDaddy and Hostinger, appear once each as dual entries covering both parts. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud are carried at the end of Part B as the hyperscale majors — context for the whole roster, framed honestly as hyperscale clouds and not as shared hosts. Leadership was checked for October 2026 currency, a year of change at the top: a new chief executive at Hostinger, a founder restored at OVHcloud, and a two-day interim at Automattic that ended with its founder confirmed again as chairman and chief executive.
