THE WORLDWIDE GUIDE · LIKE® EDUCATION
EDUCATION
The world's universities — how each is governed, who leads it, what it teaches, and how a student gets in. LIKE® Education opens its worldwide coverage with the universities themselves, verified name by name in a year when the president's office changed hands from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Cape Town.
THE GUIDE
THE WORLDWIDE GUIDE · OCTOBER 2026
THE WORLD'S UNIVERSITIES
42 universities in 18 countries — from Harvard, Oxford and Tokyo to São Paulo, UNAM and Cape Town — each with its governance, its head verified to October 2026 (interims and announced successions printed as such), its signature faculties, its endowment or financing model dated and sourced, its campuses and its entry route in words. Where no figure is published, the entry says so; the gaps are named, never padded.
THE COMPANION GUIDE
LIKE® EDUCATION · COMPANION LIST
THE WORLD'S NOBEL LAUREATES
The Education department's companion guide: every Nobel laureate from 1901 to the present, with the heads-of-state fields — the people the universities in this guide educated, employed and honoured. The two lists belong together: read the laureates against the institutions that formed them, from the Cavendish Laboratory to the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet, which itself selects the laureates in Physiology or Medicine.
More Education guides will join this department in the months ahead.
