A wedding dress is the most considered garment most people ever buy, and the business behind it is a world of its own: Barcelona bridal dynasties, Beirut couture ateliers, a New York salon so famous it has its own television show, and tailors in Rome who have dressed grooms since 1945. This guide — the first of LIKE® Magazine's new Weddings department — maps that world house by house.
The list covers 39 outlets: bridal houses with their own boutiques, bridal houses that sell through stockists (labelled plainly as such), the one bridal chain of true global scale, the landmark multi-brand salons brides cross oceans to visit, and a tight set of menswear houses with genuine wedding businesses. For each: what it sells, its own boutiques worldwide (127 locations individually named), its flagship, its official website and a published contact route. Every entry was verified against the house's own site, official group communications or established trade press; company figures are labelled as company figures, and the gaps — South Asia above all — are named at the end rather than padded over.

NAMED GAPS
South Asia's couture bridal majors — India's Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra and their peers — run one of the world's largest wedding industries on a different model and deserve a dedicated guide; they are the recommended next build for this department. China's and South Korea's domestic bridal houses, Singapore and Hong Kong's multi-brand salons, and Japan's domestic salon groups were identified but not verified to house standard in this pass. Sub-Saharan Africa has no verified own-boutique major and is served through stockists. Tuxedo-rental chains and department-store bridal departments are excluded by design.
Compiled October 2026 from official house sources and trade press. Boutique lists reflect official sources at press time; the master data file (CSV) accompanies this guide in the LIKE® Weddings department records.
