A luxury cruise line is three things at once: a fleet, a fare, and a promise about time. The fleet may be one yacht or 109 ships. The fare may cover everything down to the excursions or almost nothing beyond the cabin. And the promise — measured in port hours, in crew per guest, in lecturers and chefs and naturalists — is what separates the lines in this guide from the industry around them. This guide maps all three, line by line.

The list covers 26 lines in four sections: ocean luxury, yacht-style, expedition luxury and river luxury. For each: its parent company as it stands in late 2026, its president or chief executive — verified individually, because between December 2024 and October 2026 the top job changed hands at Seabourn, Lindblad, Ponant, Regent, AmaWaterways, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Four Seasons Yachts, and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises announced its own succession for January 2027 — its ships named with the newest ship dated, what its fare includes stated in words, its signature itineraries, and its scale where the line publishes one. Where no official figure exists, the entry says "not published" rather than estimating one. Fleets are dated at October 2026; ships on order are recorded as on order, never counted as fleet.

Two presidencies stand open, and they are printed open. Oceania Cruises has had no standalone president since February 2025 and is led by its chief luxury officer, Jason Montague, who also oversees Regent Seven Seas Cruises — where Wesley D'Silva became president in March 2026. Crystal, restored by A&K Travel Group after its 2022 collapse, is led at group level by Cristina Levis. Positioning is labelled throughout: Oceania and Azamara are luxury-adjacent upper-premium lines; Viking, with 94 river ships, 13 ocean ships and two expedition ships, is a premium line at a scale no one else approaches, and is included — and described — on exactly those terms.

Sold by Royal Caribbean to Sycamore Partners in 2021 and operated independently since. The line has operated the same two 112-guest mega-yachts ever since, under the motto 'It's yachting, not cruising.'

The purest yacht product in the guide: 112 guests, a near 1:1 crew ratio, no formal nights, no Broadway shows — and a charter business that regularly takes both yachts out of the published programme

The only line in this guide still cruising under sail: three masted yachts alongside modern all-suite motor yachts, at a scale (148–342 guests) no rival in the section matches for variety

14. STAR CLIPPERS — MONTE CARLO, MONACO

Founded 1989 · Yacht-style

Parent / ownership: Privately owned by founder Mikael Krafft and family

Founded in 1989 by Swedish entrepreneur Mikael Krafft to recreate the 19th-century clipper ship with modern comforts. Star Flyer (1991) and Star Clipper (1992) were the first sailing clippers built since 1910; Royal Clipper (2000), modelled on the 1902 Preussen, is the world's largest full-rigged sailing ship in service and a Guinness World Record holder. CONTEXT ENTRY: Star Clippers is a premium tall-ship specialist rather than an all-suite luxury line — included for its distinctiveness and its overlap with the yacht-style tier, with the positioning stated plainly

There is nothing else like it in commercial cruising: three full-size square-rigged ships, teak decks and brass, sailing itineraries planned around the wind

Renamed Ponant Explorations Group in March 2025 as the holding for Ponant, Paul Gauguin Cruises and Aqua Expeditions.

The polar flagship has no peer: a passenger icebreaker that winters on the St. Lawrence and summers at the North Pole, flying the French flag with French officers and Ducasse dining

Scenic Ikon, a larger Discovery Yacht, debuts in April 2028. The group also owns Emerald Cruises (separate entry).

Aircraft as excursion equipment: no other line in this guide routinely lands guests by helicopter and dives them in a submersible from a 228-guest yacht — and owns its river fleet outright on the same all-inclusive promise

17. LINDBLAD EXPEDITIONS — NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES

Founded 1958 · Expedition luxury

Parent / ownership: Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, Inc. — listed on Nasdaq (NASDAQ: LIND); the Lindblad family and long-term holders are significant shareholders. The National Geographic co-brand operates under licence/partnership with National Geographic Partners (Disney)

Plus about 11 chartered vessels (river and coastal, including Delfin III, Connect on the Rhine from 2026, Charaidew II and Aqua Blu deployments)

Newest ship: National Geographic Resolution (2021) is the newest owned newbuild (138 guests, PC5, X-Bow). Newest fleet additions: Delfina and Gemini (joined 2025, Galápagos) and chartered river ship Connect (Rhine, 2026)

Fleet count: 23 vessels operated in February 2026 (12 owned, remainder chartered — CEO statement to Seatrade); the line's own fleet page lists 24 small ships including 2026 charters. Both figures are printed with their dates because the charter fleet changes by season

What it offers & how it works: Expedition cruising, not resort cruising: fares include all excursions and activities, expedition team guidance, meals and (on most ships) beverages on a published basis; every voyage sails with naturalists, an expedition leader and a certified photo instructor, and National Geographic Experts join select departures. Accommodation ranges from comfortable cabins to suites — Lindblad is the expedition benchmark rather than the suite benchmark, stated plainly

Specialties: Galápagos (four vessels, year-round); polar expedition (Endurance and Resolution); photography programme; citizen-science and conservation via the Lindblad–National Geographic Fund; river collection expansion (Rhine, Amazon, Brahmaputra, Mekong, Nile)

Roots in Lars-Eric Lindblad's pioneering expedition travel from 1958 (first tourist expedition to Antarctica, 1966); the modern company was built by his son Sven-Olof Lindblad from 1979. The alliance with National Geographic (from 2004; co-brand National Geographic–Lindblad Expeditions) pairs Lindblad's ships and expedition teams with National Geographic experts and photographers. In April 2025 the former Crystal Esprit joined as National Geographic Islander II's fleetmate programme expanded in the Galápagos (Delfina and Gemini).

The originator: modern expedition cruising was invented by this family, and the National Geographic partnership puts working scientists, photographers and filmmakers on the roster of every season — authority no luxury line can buy as hardware

18. HX (HURTIGRUTEN EXPEDITIONS) — LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

Founded 1896 · Expedition luxury

Parent / ownership: Hurtigruten Expeditions Holdings Ltd. (HX) — owned since February 2025 by a consortium led by Arini Capital Management, Cyrus Capital Partners and Tresidor Investment Management; independent of Hurtigruten Group AS

Website: hurtigruten.com (HX voyages at travelhx.com / hxexpeditions.com per market) · Contact: Reservations and travel-advisor portal via the HX sites listed on hurtigruten.com · Phone: Reservations numbers published on the HX sites by market

Expedition cruising began for Hurtigruten in 1896 with voyages from mainland Norway to Svalbard. The modern expedition arm grew from Fram (2007) and the hybrid-powered Roald Amundsen (2019) and Fridtjof Nansen (2020). Rebranded HX in 2023 and separated from Hurtigruten Group: in February 2025 an investor consortium (Arini Capital, Cyrus Capital, Tresidor) acquired HX with €140 million of new funding, and HX now stands alone. CONTEXT: Hurtigruten itself continues the Norwegian coastal service (10 ships, Oslo, CEO Hedda Felin) and is a separate company — it is not the expedition line in this entry

The science ship line: expedition teams led by working scientists, hybrid ships in the ice, and 130 years of polar operating history — heritage the 2023 rebrand kept and the 2025 buyout kept independent

19. AQUA EXPEDITIONS — LIMA (OPERATIONS) / SINGAPORE (COMMERCIAL), PERU / SINGAPORE

Founded 2007 · Expedition luxury

Parent / ownership: Ponant Explorations Group (Artémis) — majority stake acquired January 2025; founder remains a shareholder and chief executive

Fleet — ships named: Aqua Nera (2021, Amazon, 40 guests); Aria Amazon (2011, Amazon, 32 guests); Aqua Mekong (2014, Mekong, 40 guests); Aqua Blu (built 1968 as HMS Beagle, converted; joined 2019, Indonesia/East Africa, 30 guests); Aqua Mare (built 1998, joined 2022, Galápagos, 16 guests)

Newest ship: Aqua Nera (2021) — 20-suite Amazon river ship, the newest purpose-built vessel in the fleet

Fleet count: 5 ships — 3 river and 2 ocean (group statement, January 2025; unchanged in sources found to October 2026). A sixth deployment (East Africa, Seychelles & Tanzania on Aqua Blu) began in 2025-26 without a new hull

Design-led interiors by Noor Design (river ships)

Scale: 158 berths fleet-wide (40 + 32 + 40 + 30 + 16 published capacities) — the smallest total in this guide. Tonnage: not published fleet-wide

Website: aquaexpeditions.com · Contact: Reservations and travel-advisor portal via aquaexpeditions.com · Phone: Reservations number published on aquaexpeditions.com

Founded in 2007 by Francesco Galli Zugaro, launching Aqua Amazon on the Peruvian Amazon in 2008 — the first luxury expedition ship on that river. Expanded to the Mekong (Aqua Mekong, 2014), back to the Amazon with Aqua Nera (2021), and to the ocean with Aqua Blu (2019, East Indonesia) and Aqua Mare (2022, Galápagos). In January 2025 Ponant Explorations Group acquired a majority stake; Aqua continues as a standalone brand and business unit.

Aqua sells the river and coast the way a private yacht would do it — 16 to 40 guests, a chef of record for each region, and naturalist guiding at a ratio no 200-guest ship can match

Built a three-yacht fleet of identical polar-class expedition yachts and a three-part programme — Polar, Epicurean and Cultural Expeditions — aimed at the North American market.

The youngest fleet in the expedition section — three identical sub-200-guest polar yachts, so the ship is never the variable; only the continent changes. Repeat-guest rate near 30% (company figure, 2026)

The original Swan Hellenic was founded in 1954 as a British cultural-cruising company (Swan's Tours heritage) and ceased trading in 2017 under All Leisure Group. The brand rights were acquired in 2020 by a private investor group, which relaunched it as a cultural expedition line with three new Helsinki-built ice-class ships: SH Minerva (2021), SH Vega (2022) and SH Diana (2023). Minerva spent 2022–25 laid up in Uruguay after her leasing owner was sanctioned; Swan Hellenic reacquired her on 25 July 2025 in full compliance with applicable sanctions, restoring the three-ship fleet.

The lecturer's expedition line, reborn: a 1950s cultural-cruising idea rebuilt with ice-class hardware — and a flagship recovered from a sanctions lay-up by buying it back, a fleet story with no parallel in this guide

RIVER LUXURY

22. VIKING — LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (OPERATIONAL HQ); BASEL (RIVER OPERATIONS), UNITED STATES / SWITZERLAND

Leadership: Torstein Hagen, Founder & Executive Chairman, and Leah Talactac, President & Chief Executive Officer (both verified October 2026: Hagen titled Executive Chairman in Seatrade's August 2026 order coverage; Talactac presented as President & CEO at the October 2026 river-ship naming in Amsterdam). Hagen held the Chairman & CEO titles through the October 2025 100-ship naming — the change of titles during 2026 is recorded with both dates

Fleet — ships named: River: 94 river ships (October 2026) including the Longship fleet and ships for the Seine, Douro, Nile, Mekong, Mississippi (Viking Mississippi, 2022) and Yangtze programmes; the nine named in October 2025 included Viking Honir (the line's 100th ship). Ocean: 13 ships — Viking Star (2015) through Viking Vela (2024) and Viking Vesta (2025), all 998 guests or fewer. Expedition: Viking Octantis (2022); Viking Polaris (2022)

Newest ship: Viking Vesta (2025) — newest ocean ship (998 guests). Newest river ships: the seven Longships named in Amsterdam in October 2026 (names per the line's naming release). Newest overall deliveries are river ships by design — the fleet adds river hulls faster than any other type

Fleet count: 109 ships in October 2026 — 94 river, 13 ocean, 2 expedition (Points Guy naming coverage, October 2026), up from 103 in October 2025 (88 river, 12 ocean, 2 expedition, 1 charter). Order book: 36 river and 17 ocean ships on order or option to 2032-34 (line statements, 2026), including 2 further expedition ships (2030-31)

What it offers & how it works: Premium included-value model: fares include one excursion in every port, all onboard meals, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi, port charges and access to the spa's thermal suite. Premium beverages, additional excursions and gratuities (by market) sit outside the base fare — a broader inclusion set than premium rivals, short of the all-inclusive river lines, stated plainly. Ocean ships are all-veranda; no casinos, no children under 18, no umbrella drinks — the line's own positioning

Specialties: River cruising at global scale (Europe, Egypt, Southeast Asia, the United States); enrichment for 'thinking people' (the line's phrase): resident historians, lecture programmes, the Viking Art Guide and destination-focused design; ocean itineraries with long stays and the Chairman's world cruises

Signature itineraries: Grand European Tour (Amsterdam–Budapest, 15 days — the signature river voyage); World Cruise (annual, up to 138 nights, ocean); Mississippi River (New Orleans–St. Paul); Egypt (Pharaohs & Pyramids); Mekong (Magnificent Mekong); expedition seasons in the Great Lakes, Antarctica and the Arctic

Scale: The largest fleet by hulls of any cruise company: 109 ships (October 2026). Berths: river ships carry 106–386 guests, ocean ships 930–998, expedition ships 378 — a fleet total in the region of 30,000 berths (sum of published capacities; the line does not publish a single fleet berth total). Revenue $5.3bn in 2024 (company figure, October 2025)

Founded in 1997 by Torstein Hagen with four second-hand river ships; Viking River Cruises modernised European river cruising with the Longship programme (from 2012), then reinvented ocean cruising for its audience with Viking Star (2015) and expedition cruising with Viking Octantis (2022). Listed on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2024. POSITIONED HONESTLY: Viking is a premium line at very large scale — the river giant of this guide, with an ocean fleet of premium (not all-suite ultra-luxury) ships. It is included because no worldwide river guide is defensible without it, and its positioning is stated rather than upgraded

Scale itself is the distinction: more ships than the rest of this river section combined, sold direct with a marketing engine (public-television sponsorship, direct mail) that made river cruising a mass-premium habit — while keeping ships small, adult-only and excursion-inclusive

23. AMAWATERWAYS — CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES

Founded 2002 · River luxury

Parent / ownership: Private — founders Rudi Schreiner and Kristin Karst with growth investor L Catterton (significant stake, 2024)

Fleet count: 33 ships (September 2025, company statement); fleet grows through the eight-ship European order announced in 2025 plus AmaRudi in 2027

What it offers & how it works: Luxury river cruising with inclusions beyond the premium tier: a choice of included small-group excursions in every port (including biking and hiking), wine and beer with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi, a wellness programme with dedicated hosts, and specialty dining (The Chef's Table) without surcharge. Gratuities and premium beverages sit outside the base fare in most markets — stated plainly

Founded in 2002 by Rudi Schreiner (a pioneer of modern river cruising), Kristin Karst and the late Jimmy Murphy. Built a fleet of custom-designed river ships for Europe, then the Mekong, the Chobe, the Nile and — in 2025, a first for a major river line — Colombia's Magdalena River. AmaMagna (2019), at twice the width of a conventional river ship, remains the fleet's flagship statement; her double-width sister AmaRudi follows in spring 2027. In 2024 L Catterton took a significant growth stake alongside the founders.

The innovator of the river section: the double-width AmaMagna experiment, a wellness host on every ship, and the first Magdalena River programme by a major line — growth funded (via L Catterton) without selling the founders' control of the product

24. TAUCK — WILTON, CONNECTICUT, UNITED STATES

Founded 1925 · River luxury

Parent / ownership: Tauck, Inc. — private, family-owned (Tauck family); no outside cruise-group parent

Leadership: Jennifer Tombaugh, Chief Executive Officer (verified October 2026, leading the 2027 riverboat announcements). Chairman: Arthur Tauck Jr. President: Jeremy Palmer (company leadership as published; Palmer's presidency verified in company materials to 2025 — see README for the verification note)

Fleet — ships named: European riverboats (owned, Tauck-designed): ms Inspire, ms Savor, ms Joy, ms Grace, ms Treasures, ms Esprit, ms Sapphire, ms Emerald, ms Swiss Jewel class ships and the Douro's ms Andorinha (2020); newest: ms Lumière (2026, Rhône, 130 guests) and ms Serene (2026, Seine, 124 guests). On order: ms Saudade (Douro, 2027) and ms Reverie (Seine, 2027). Small-ship ocean cruising sails on partner ships (Ponant and others) rather than Tauck-owned ocean hulls — stated plainly

Newest ship: ms Lumière and ms Serene (spring 2026) — the first of a four-ship, two-year expansion adding about 30% river capacity since 2025

Fleet count: River fleet in the mid-teens of owned riverboats (the line does not publish a single fleet total in sources found — counted here as 'not published' rather than estimated); 37 European river itineraries published for 2027

What it offers & how it works: The most comprehensively inclusive escorted model in the river section: Tauck fares include all excursions (with exclusive-access events), all gratuities (ship, guides and drivers), airport transfers, premium beverages aboard the riverboats and most meals, with a Tauck Director team travelling with every departure. The product is a guided tour that happens to sleep on a ship — 'small is big': no riverboat carries more than 130 guests

Specialties: Exclusive cultural access (after-hours openings, private concerts and dinners ashore); Tauck Bridges family journeys; Christmas-market and festival sailings; the Retreat wellness concept debuting on the 2026-27 ships

Signature itineraries: The Blue Danube; French Escapade (Seine/Paris); Savoring France (Rhône); Douro Discovery (Portugal); Bordeaux, Paris & the Seine (new 2026); small-ship ocean cruises including Iceland, the Mediterranean and Japan on partner tonnage

Scale: Riverboats average about 110 guests, maximum 130 (line statements, 2025-26) — deliberately the smallest capacities in the European river market at this quality tier. Fleet berth total: not published

Website: tauck.com · Contact: Reservations via tauck.com and through travel advisors; Tauck Advisor Connect portal · Phone: Reservations number published on tauck.com

Founded in 1925 by Arthur Tauck Sr. as a New England motor-coach company; still family-owned in its fourth generation (Chairman Arthur Tauck Jr.). Tauck entered river cruising in the 1990s-2000s and built its own fleet of destination-designed riverboats from 2006, and runs small-ship ocean cruises on chartered and partner tonnage (including Ponant ships) alongside escorted land tours. Celebrated its centenary in 2025.

A century-old touring company that treats the riverboat as one instrument in a fully escorted journey: the fare buys the guiding, the access and the gratuities as much as the cabin — and the ships stay small while rivals grow

25. EMERALD CRUISES — SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

Founded 2014 · River luxury

Parent / ownership: Scenic Group — private, owned by founder Glen Moroney; sister brand to Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours (separate entry)

Leadership: Glen Moroney, Founder & Chairman, Scenic Group (group leadership verified October 2026). Emerald is led within the group structure; a standalone Emerald brand president was not published in the sources consulted — named gap (see README)

Newest ship: Emerald Kaia (2026) — third Emerald yacht, larger than Azzurra and Sakara (about 128 guests; line figures). Newest river ship before Lumi: Emerald Luna (2021) class renewals — river newbuild cadence resumes with Lumi in 2027

Fleet count: 10 river ships and 3 yachts — 13 vessels (group/trade reporting, 2026), growing to 16 by 2028 on announced orders

What it offers & how it works: Contemporary luxury at a step below Scenic: river fares include excursions (EmeraldACTIVE and EmeraldPLUS options), wine and beer with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi and gratuities on published terms that vary by market; yachts sail with inclusive dining and beverages on Emerald's published basis. The inclusions sit deliberately between premium and Scenic's all-inclusive — stated plainly rather than rounded up

Specialties: Yacht cruising in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red Sea and (from 2028) the Seychelles; active river excursions (guided hikes, bike rides, canoe trips); EmeraldPLUS cultural events

Signature itineraries: Jewels of the Rhine; Danube Delights; Sensations of Lyon & Provence; Secrets of the Douro; yacht seasons: Mediterranean Enchantment, Greek Isles, Red Sea and Seychelles (from 2028)

Launched in 2014 by Scenic Group as Emerald Waterways, a contemporary river brand below Scenic's all-inclusive tier; rebranded Emerald Cruises as it took to the ocean with the yacht Emerald Azzurra (2022) and Emerald Sakara (2023). Emerald Kaia follows in 2026, with Emerald Raiya (2027) and Emerald Xara (2028) announced, and the river fleet renews with Emerald Lumi on the Seine in 2027.

The bridge brand of the Scenic Group: it carries the group's shipbuilding and itinerary machine to a younger, more active guest — and its 110-guest yachts are the smallest ocean ships in this guide after SeaDream and Aqua Mare

26. UNIWORLD BOUTIQUE RIVER CRUISE COLLECTION — LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES

Founded 1976 · River luxury

Parent / ownership: The Travel Corporation — private, owned by the Tollman family (TTC's ownership was in transition reporting in 2024-25 with an Apollo Global Management acquisition of TTC announced in 2024; the brand's operating parent at press time is TTC — the entry records the announced change rather than asserting a completed structure not confirmed in sources found)

Leadership: Ellen Bettridge, President & Chief Executive Officer (verified January–October 2026: S.S. Emilie launch, March 2026, and the 2028 three-ship announcement, July 2026)

Fleet — ships named: Super Ships in Europe including S.S. Antoinette, S.S. Maria Theresa, S.S. Catherine, S.S. Joie de Vivre, S.S. Bon Voyage, S.S. La Venezia, S.S. Sphinx (Nile), Ganges Voyager II (India), Mekong Jewel (Mekong), S.S. São Gabriel (Douro), S.S. Victoria (2024), S.S. Elisabeth (2025) and S.S. Emilie (2026, 154 guests, Danube). Three further newbuilds join in 2027 (all-Super Ship fleet) and three more in 2028 (S.S. Helen, Danube; S.S. Clara, Rhine; Mekong Mystique, Mekong), taking the fleet to 22 (line statement, 2026)

Newest ship: S.S. Emilie (2026) — launched late March 2026 on the Tulips & Windmills itinerary; the line's first newbuild since 2020/21, named for Emilie Flöge, partner of Gustav Klimt, whose art inspires the interiors

Fleet count: 19 ships implied by the line's 2028 statement (22 after three 2028 additions); the line does not publish a single October 2026 fleet total in sources found — printed as the dated 2028 statement plus the named fleet above, not as an invented count

What it offers & how it works: All-inclusive river cruising on the boutique-hotel model: unlimited premium beverages, all excursions (including Make Travel Matter experiences), gratuities (onboard and ashore), Wi-Fi, airport transfers and wellness classes are included in the fare in most markets. Butler service serves suites. Cruise & Rail journeys extend the model onto Europe's great trains

Specialties: Design (no two ships alike; original art throughout); culinary (farm-to-table, regional tasting menus); Cruise & Rail; Rivers of the World (the line's multi-river world voyage); Mystery Cruises

Signature itineraries: Enchanting Danube; Castles Along the Rhine; Venice & the Gems of Northern Italy (La Venezia, based in Venice); Splendors of Egypt & the Nile; Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong; 50th Anniversary President's Cruise (Emilie, Danube, 23 October 2026, hosted by Bettridge)

Scale: Ships carry 82–159 guests (Emilie 154); fleet berth total: not published. Tonnage is not a published metric for river fleets

Website: uniworld.com · Contact: Reservations and travel-advisor portal via uniworld.com · Phone: Reservations number published on uniworld.com

Founded in 1976; the boutique turn came under the Tollman family (The Travel Corporation), which rebuilt Uniworld's ships as floating boutique hotels — each Super Ship individually designed with original art and antiques, under the design direction of Beatrice Tollman and the Red Carnation Hotel Collection team. Celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026 and completes its transition to an all-Super Ship fleet in 2027.

The design line of the rivers: a fleet run like a collection of small grand hotels, each ship a one-off — the anti-Longship, competing on art, antiques and butlers rather than on hull count

NAMED GAPS

Two brand presidencies were unfilled or unconfirmed at press time — Oceania Cruises (vacant since February 2025; led by Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague) and Crystal (group-led under A&K Travel Group CEO Cristina Levis after Jack Anderson's relaunch presidency) — and are printed as such in their entries, without speculation. Several founder-led private lines publish no separate brand chief executive — Scenic and Emerald Cruises (under founder-chairman Glen Moroney), Paul Gauguin Cruises (under the Ponant Explorations Group chief executive) and Star Clippers (under founder Mikael Krafft) — and their entries name the gap. Tauck and Uniworld publish no single current fleet total in sources found; Uniworld's count is anchored to its dated 2028 statement and Tauck's is printed as not published. For Crystal, Azamara, Atlas Ocean Voyages, Swan Hellenic, Star Clippers, HX and the Scenic Group brands, a full headquarters street address was not captured in sources consulted; those entries give the verified headquarters city instead of an unverified address. Reservations numbers are printed only where a source in this research published them (SeaDream Yacht Club, Lindblad Expeditions, AmaWaterways); every other entry records that the number is published on the line's website by market. Cunard and Holland America Line, premium heritage lines, sit outside this guide's luxury tier by design.
